Glittle Minds -- Mindfulness and Yoga for Kids
This program will give students an opportunity to learn about mindfulness, through yoga, directed meditation and breathing, and positive self-awareness strategies. Students will be lead in exercises and activities, tailored to the young learner, to help them notice and manage internal and external stimulation, all with the goal of strengthening students’ inner core. The program will provide students with tools to learn how to calm the mind, bring clarity and focus, and build confidence and character. Through building strong, positive, and calm minds, kids will learn to acknowledge, accept, and appreciate themselves, their relationships, and their surroundings.
This program is intended for students Kindergarten to 2nd grade and 3rd to 6th grade.
